OPEC Fund Scholarship Award: The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) is pleased to announce its Scholarship Award to support undergraduate students from developing countries in pursuit of higher education.
Through its scholarship scheme, OFID aims to help highly motivated, highly driven individuals overcome one of the biggest challenges to their careers - the cost of advanced professional or graduate training.
The winner will receive a scholarship of up to $100,000, spread over a maximum of two years, toward the completion of a Master's degree, or its equivalent, at an accredited educational institution, starting in the autumn of the academic year.
To be eligible the candidate must meet ALL of the following criteria:

Must be between the ages of 23-32 at the time of submitting his/her application.

Must be a graduating student with a Baccalaureate from a four-year, accredited college/university, or its equivalent.

Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system, or its equivalent.

Must be matriculated at an accredited university for the upcoming academic year starting September, and must maintain full-time status for the duration of the Masters Degree.

Must be a national of a developing country

Must select a subject of study that pertains to OFID’s core mission, such as: economics of development (poverty reduction, energy and sustainable development), environment (desertification), or other related science and technology fields. Refugee and Asylum Seeker Scholarships - University of Melbourne

Refugee and Asylum Seeker Scholarships: Refugee and Asylum Seeker Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne with the aim of assisting refugees and asylum seekers with the cost of tertiary education.

Benefits:

Full fee remission and an annual allowance.

The amount of the allowance will be determined by the selection committee, according to the level of assistance needed, up to a maximum of $10,000 per annum. At least two new scholarships are available.

Scholarship Application Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be in receipt of an Australian Bridging visa or Temporary Protection visa, and be a new or currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate coursework student. Scholarships will be awarded by the Undergraduate and Graduate Coursework Scholarships Sub-Committee based on financial need and academic merit.

Latin American School of Medical Sciences Scholarships

The Latin American School of Medical Sciences Scholarships are for undergraduate study in medicine offered by the Cuba government.
Applicants need to be high school graduates, 18 to 25 years old, from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The ability to speak Spanish is not required. Students who do not speak spanish spend upto four months immersed in the language after arriving in Havana.
The Latin American School of Medical Sciences (LASMS) educates a minimum of 500 doctors each year — for free.

The program of The Latin American School of Medical Sciences is based on intensive advising and tutoring designed to help every student succeed.
Students must pass competency exams at appropriate points in their course of study.
The six-year medical school program, begins every September and is divided into 12 semesters.
Students study at the LASMS campus for the first two years, and then go to another of Cuba's 21 medical schools, which are located throughout the island, to complete their studies.
The Cuban medical training model combines theory and practice and is oriented toward primary care, community medicine and hands-on internships.
In order to register and get a scholarship in the Latin American School of Medical Sciences (Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina - ELAM) interested candidates must go to the Cuban diplomatic missions in their respective countries and ask for the information.

Korean Government Scholarship Program

Korean Government Scholarship Program: National Institute for International Education(NIIED) invites 150 foreign students for the Undergraduate Scholarship Program in Korea from 72 countries.

Applicants who are interested in KGSP are requested to contact the Korean Embassy or consulate in their home countries.
Korean Government Scholarship Qualifications

Applicants should be a citizen of the country to which this scholarship program is offered. (including applicant's parents)

Applicants should not be a holder of Korean citizenship.

Applicants should be under 25 years of age as of March.

Have adequate health, both physically and mentally.

Have finished or be scheduled to finish formal education of elementary, middle, high school outside of Korea as of March.

Possess a grade point average (G.P.A.) above 80% from the last educational institution attended or have earned top 10% of G.P.A. among classmates.

Not at any time have received a Korean government scholarship for his/her undergraduate study before.

Not have enrolled in an undergraduate course in Korea before.

Preferential selection for applicants who are good at Korean or English.

Monthly Allowance: 800,000 won per month

Tuitions (an entrance fee and a registration fee): The full entrance fee are exempted by the host institution. The full tuition is exempted by NIIED.

Settlement Allowance: 200,000 won upon arrival

Repatriation Allowance: 100,000 won upon completion of studies

Korean Language Training

Expenses: The full costs up to 1 year (NIIED pays directly to the entrusted language training institution)

Medical Insurance: The grantees will be provided with health insurance during the period of their study program in Korea for major accidents and illnesses. (The medical fee will be reimbursed through the insurance company to the grantee after he/she pays first)

International Undergraduate Student Scholarships

International Undergraduate Student Scholarships: The University of Dayton offers merit-based scholarships to selected International Undergraduate applicants. Applicants receive consideration for these scholarships on the basis of high school academic performance and ACT or SAT scores. Awards are made for two semesters in an academic year. A recipient must be enrolled full-time at the University (minimum of 12 credit hours), and will maintain the scholarship for eight full-time undergraduate terms providing he/she maintains at least a 3.0 (B) cumulative grade point average and participates in University-sponsored extracurricular activities.

The International Undergraduate Student Scholarships awards will be based on the applicant's academic record, as well as the quality and strength of the current applicant pool. International Merit Scholarships are offered to selected first-year and transfer undergraduate international applicants. Josephine de Karman Fellowship

Josephine de Karman Fellowship Trust: The Josephine de Karman Fellowship Trust awards A minimum of ten (10) fellowships, $22,000 for graduate students and $14,000 for undergraduate students, will be awarded for the regular academic year (fall and spring semesters or the equivalent where the quarterly system prevails), paid through the fellowship office of the university in which the recipient is enrolled for study in the United States. Study must be carried out only in the United States and all funds must be expended only within the US. Applicants should have manifested exceptional ability and serious purpose. Special consideration will be given to applicants in the Humanities. Open to foreign students already enrolled in a university located in the United States. Students who are not citizens of the United States may apply for Josephine de Kármán Fellowships if they are already enrolled in a university located in the United States and if they will be in the United States by the July preceding the Fall Semester of the academic year for which they have enrolled. Japanese Government Scholarships

Japanese Government Scholarships: The application for the Japanese Government Scholarships is now open.

Undergraduate Scholarship
This scholarship covers a 5-year period of study in Japan for individuals wishing to pursue undergraduate-level studies in the field of humanities, natural sciences or social sciences.
Applicants must be between 17 to 21 years of age, have good academic standing and completed at least 12 years of formal education or have graduated from a school equivalent to a senior high school in Japan.

Research Scholarship (may lead to a Master's degree or a Ph.D.)
This scholarship covers a 1 1/2 to 2-year period of study in Japan for individuals who are interested in conducting research in a field related to what they have previously studied within the scope of humanities, natural sciences or social sciences.
Applicants must be under 35 years of age, have good academic standing and completed at least 16 years of formal education.
Experience in research work is an advantage.

Teacher Training Scholarship
This scholarship is open to teachers (elementary/high school) or academic staffs at a teacher training institution wishing to undergo professional improvement in the field of Education in Japan for 1 1/2 years.
Applicants must be under 35 years of age, and have at least 5 years of experience in their terms of service.
University instructors are not qualified for this scholarship.

Japanese Studies Scholarship
This scholarship covers a 1-year period of studying Japanese language, life and culture.
Applicants must be between 18 to 29 years of age, and should at least be in their 3rd year of majoring in Japanese Studies (Language or Culture) in a Philippine university, have good academic standing and proficient in the Japanese Language.

Professional Training School (Senshu-Gakko) Scholarship
This scholarship is open to individuals wishing to pursue a 3-year non-degree program at a Japanese vocational school in the following fields: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Nutrition, Infant Education, Secretarial Studies, Hotel Management, Tourism, Fashion/Dressmaking, Design, Photography, etc.

Applicants must be between 17 to 21 years of age.

Have good academic standing and completed either 12 years of formal education or have graduated from a school equivalent to a senior high school in Japan.   

 

College of Technology Scholarship

This scholarship is open to individuals wishing to pursue a 4-year non-degree program at a Japanese school in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering; Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Information, Communication and Network Engineering; Materials Engineering; Architecture and Civil Engineering; Maritime Engineering; etc.

 

Applicants must be between 17 to 21 years of age, have good academic standing and completed at least 11 years of formal education.

Italian Government Scholarships

Italian Government Scholarships: The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is offering scholarships.
The scholarships can be used for:

Italian language courses.

Single university courses (3, 6, 9 or 12 months).

Courses of higher artistic and musical education (3, 6, 9 or 12 months).

Research (3, 6, 9 or 12 months). Two reference letters and an acceptance letter from a professor of the hosting institution is required.

Post-graduate studies (3, 6, 9 or 12 months). Two reference letters are required.

University degree courses (3, 6, 9 or 12 months).

Italian language and culture courses for lecturers and teachers of Italian (1, 2 or 3 months). For university degree course enrollments, the candidate is required to pass an Italian language proficiency exam.

All applicants must possess a good knowledge of the Italian language.
The only exception to this requirement is made if the candidate intends to use the scholarship to attend an Italian language course.
The scholarships can be used to study at Italian universities, polytechnics, and other higher institutions of learning.
