Madhvani Muljibhai Foundation Scholarships

Madhvani Muljibhai Foundation is Uganda’s largest private sector chartable trust whose primary objective is the maintenance and promotion of primary objective is the maintenance and promotion of scientific and technical education for the betterment of the people of Uganda. The charity provides university scholarships to hard working and gifted Ugandan students who are facing difficulties paying for their university studies.

Agriculture, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, commerce, Engineering, food science & Technology, information Technology, law, Hotel management, pharmacy, Nursing, architecture, veterinary medicine, environmental studies and human medicine Application Requirements For undergraduate students, completion of the first year at a Ugandan university with minimum cumulative Grade point average(CGPA) of not less than 2.2, with no exam retakes done in year one For post graduate Students: Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelors degree and be either admitted for or registered in a post graduate programme in the discipleines of scientific and technical study mentioned before Selection Criteria Selection of the candidates is based on a number of factors including the academic performance of the candidates in the first year (CGPA) for undergraduates, the class degree held for graduate students, the age and character of the candidate, the financial structure of student or parents Nature of scholarship Scholarships will be payable as a grant directly to the university/ institution on behalf of the awardness. Upon completion of their studies, it is expected that awardees will, for the benefit of the future scholars, make voluntary donations/ contribution to the foundation.
